The Pat & Aaron show begins with a recap of the Tampa Bay Rays win over the Boston Red Sox and that it's exciting that Aaron is home by 10:00 PM with the speed of the game. After that, Aaron explains a "trick" that he gives on-air on how to manifest hot dogs at the Trop, and that you need to go to at least one game for the Tampa Bay Rays during their homestand. In the second segment, the guys discuss Devin White, and the comments he put on social media are confusing! Aaron says that he is confused because you never know which personality you are going to get from him. Pat says that Devin is under contract, and he will have to show up to his job! Then the guys take calls from several listeners who have a wide range of opinions. One example is Louie from Massachusetts saying that we need to get rid of him.
The 7:00 AM hour begins with the news that Zach Eflin is now on the IL, and Aaron is very concerned about it. Pat explains that he also has had back issues, and that they don't just go away. Then Aaron talks about how Taj Bradley gets his opportunity tonight, and that this is probably not how he wanted to get his big break. Aaron goes on to explain how great the at bats have been for Brandon Lowe, and more! Then the guys talk about the crazy tweets from Evan Gattis, and that he admitted to performance-enhancing drugs. Aaron says that he has no respect for him because he is a double cheater!
The 8:00 AM hour is with Bally Sports Rays host Doug Waechter who sits in for his weekly segment. He first explains how great the team has been, and that he can't ever remember a time when he thought a team would win with a 3-0 lead. Then he explains how the team is leaning on younger players and that this is a great thing for the team. Then Aaron asks Doug about how crazy it is to be a player and to have everyone watching him, and he says it can be a blessing or a curse. Then in the next segment, Doug Waechter says that Lou Pinella was always genuine when it came to his personality! The segment ends with calls from the Goon Squad!
