The Pat & Aaron Show Commercial Free: 3/30/23

The Pat & Aaron Show is live from Tropicana Field for the opening day of the Tampa Bay Rays! The show first begins with Pat Donovan explaining how he got injured while walking on the field in the dark, and Aaron thinks he needs to go to the hospital. Then the guys debated if Pat & Aaron should ride together to the Tampa Bay Rays game or not, and Aaron didn't want to put pressure on Pat. Pat goes on to say that the Rays need to put up 4-5 runs to win games this year, and Aaron thinks it's possible. The segment ends with Aaron talking about how much Tedd Webb means to him, and that his legacy will never be forgotten. Then the guys talk about all the things the Tampa Bay Rays need to do to compete this year, and that it's going be a grind! Then the hour ends with Today's Top Headlines as executive producer Ryan Hoppe reads off the headlines from ESPN, USA Today, Tampa Bay Times, and Barstool Sports.

The 7:00 AM begins with the guys discussing how much they miss Tedd Webb, and playing a rejoiner of him singing. Then Jay Recher from Jay & Z sat in with Pat & Aaron! He first explains that baseball is like life, and one day you can win and the next day you can lose. Aaron says that Randy Arozarena needs to stop making mistakes while running the bases, and that its infectious to the team. Then Jay Recher is asked by Pat Donovan about how the rule changes will affect the Rays, and Jay explains that the pitch clock will help the team for sure! Aaron explains that Shane McClanahan is learning the new rules and Aaron says it's very important that they learn them. Jay proceeds to ask Aaron if he brings his glove to games, and Aaron says he does not. Then the hour ends with Pat & Aaron breaking down the AL East. 

The 8:00 AM hour of the Pat & Aaron Show starts off with the one and only Steve Carney on the phone. They throw out an idea of a segment called "pitch clock" and ask him for his opinion. Then Steve Carney said that the team needed to stay healthy, and that is why the offense was down in 2022. Then Steve Carney explains how much he loves Brandon Lowe and that he is excited about what he could bring to the team this year. Then Steve Carney said that the staff could be as good as the 2020 World Series team, especially with McClanahan, Efflin, and Springs. Then Steve Carney made the prediction that two players would steal 60 bases! The show proceeds to end with The Blender!
