The Pat & Aaron Show Commercial Free: 1/17/23

The Pat & Aaron Show begins with Aaron Jacobson and Nick Wize (filling in for Pat Donovan.) Aaron Jacobson says that he couldn't believe that Tom Brady had his red zone interception, and why he is disappointed in the outcome. Nick Wize explains that there isn't enough of a spotlight on Jason Licht and his draft picks. The segment ends with Aaron Jacobson thanking Tom Brady for the memories, but saying he had an awful night. Then the guys take calls from plenty of listeners who voice their frustration, and the debate about firing Todd Bowles & Byron Leftwich comes up as well.

The 7:00 AM hour of "The Pat & Aaron Show" takes a call from a happy 11 year old listener who won WWE tickets last month, and that cheers up Aaron Jacobson. Then Aaron says that at some point we will have to part ways with Tom Brady, and that we have to get ready for that. Nick Wize says that if you bring back Tom Brady, that it is Super Bowl or Bust. But if we want to build for the future, then we have to let Tom Brady go. Then they play some audio from Tom Brady who says he's working on the process of what's next. The 7:00 AM hour ends with plenty of opinions from more callers who need to vent!

The 8:00 AM hour begins with a discussion about what the future might be for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Aaron Jacobson says he would definitely entertain Derek Carr as a potential future quarterback of the team, and that the defense was horrible last night against the Dallas Cowboys and Dak Prescott.

Former Super Bowl Champion Michael Clayton calls in for his weekly segment with The Pat & Aaron Show. Michael Clayton says that only Tom Brady knows if that was his last game as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer, and that he is getting older by the day. He also believes that we have probably seen the last of him as a Buc. Michael Clayton said that he believes that Byron Leftwich deserves another chance, and that the offensive line definitely didn't help much throughout the season. Nick Wize asks Michael what he thinks of Todd Bowles, and MC explains that none of us really know what he is like as a coach
