Colin Cowherd: Freddie Kitchens is a 'Special Kind of Dumb'

Freddie Kitchens: "My daughters wanted me to wear the shirt and I’d wear it again. I put a jacket on and covered it up and took a picture with a fan. A t-shirt didn’t cause us to give up 40-yard passes."
Colin Cowherd: “You covered it up and KNEW it wasn’t a great idea. ‘BUT MY DAUGHTER THOUGHT IT WAS A GREAT IDEA!’ – Yea, my son thought farting in public was a good idea at six… I’ll defend coaches who make a bad play call. These games go fast, clock is running, 75,000 people, millions on the line, you make a bad call on fourth down – I’ll defend you. But to put a t-shirt on knowing you are mocking a very violent event that embarrassed your franchise and the NFL, and allowed a fan to take a picture of it is a very special kind of dumb. That’s what a position coach or rookie player does, that is NOT what a seven-figure NFL head coach does.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why Cleveland Browns Freddie Kitchens encapsulates everything about the incompetent Browns franchise after the team not only made news for their likely season-ending loss to the outmanned Pittsburgh Steelers, but for a t-shirt that Kitchens wore that pledged support for disgraced Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

Kitchens was seen before their Week 13 rivalry game sporting a ‘Pittsburgh Started It’ t-shirt, and was even spotted in a viral picture on Twitter wearing the shirt with a random fan. The shirt is obviously referring Garrett’s infamous helmet smash on the uncovered head of Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, as the motive of the grizzly attack is still being speculated.

Check out the video above as Colin details why Kitchens was never cut out to be a head coach in the NFL, and why the Browns’ disastrous season at least can be a silver lining considering Kitchens should be out of a job any day now.
