The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-7) beat the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-7) 30-12 Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
The Bucs took advantage of getting the ball first, as Chad McLaughlin knocked down a 24-yard field goal early to give Tampa Bay a 3-0 lead over Jacksonville. Devin White and the Buccaneer defense comes up big picking off a Trevor Lawrence pass.
Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneer offense scored the opening touchdown of the game, as Mayfield connected with Mike Evans, giving the Bucs a 10-0 lead. Later on in the quarter, Tampa Bay added three more points to their lead, following Chase McLaughlin's 31-yard field goal, 13-0 over the Jaguars. The offense stayed hot as Baker Mayfield connected with Mike Evans again on a 22-yard TD with :45 seconds left in the half; Tampa Bay led it 20-0 at halftime.
Tampa Bay started off the second half right where they left off in the first half, forcing a sack-fumble and eventually scoring another touchdown, this time it was Rachaad White with a 2-yard rushing TD, giving the Bucs a 27-0 lead with 11:30 left in the 3rd quarter. Chase McLaughlin continued to be reliable, making a 51-yard field goal extending Tampa Bay's lead, 30-0 over Jacksonville, late in the 3rd.
Trevor Lawrence finds Calvin Ridley on an 18-yard TD pass with :50 seconds left in the third quarter; the Jaguars cut into the Buccaneer lead, 30-6. Jacksonville was able to tack on another touchdown as C.J. Beathard found Calvin Ridley on a 1-yard TD pass, cutting into the Bucs lead 30-13 with 4:36 left in the game.
