Tampa Bay: Rays Future In Jeopardy, McCoy Bitter About Bucs, & Bolts Awards

Ronnie & TKras This Morning: The Rays get swept in the Bronx as the New York Yankees bounce Blake Snell before the 1st inning even ends in an embarrassing outing for the reigning AL Cy Young champ. We stick to baseball on The Thursday Top 3 focusing on the farm system and what players can help over at The Trop this season. Speaking of the stadium, Hillsborough County Commissioner Ken Hagan called up the show to chat about the future of the Rays locally as he stands by trying to get the team moved from St. Pete to the Tampa side. Hagan claims the Mayor of St. Pete Rick Kriseman won't answer his calls to reopen the window of conversation though and furthermore, that Owner Stu Sternberg would still prefer the Ybor City site above all else. Over in the NFL, Carolina Panthers DT Gerald McCoy went on Fox Sports yesterday and slammed Bruce Arians with the Buccaneers way of handling his departure, feeling disrespected, and comparing himself among the Bucs greats such as Warren Sapp and Lee Roy Selmon. Also, we hit the NHL Awards as Nikita Kucherov takes home 3 trophies and Vasy is crowned Best Goalie... HC Jon Cooper was also in attendance, and had a somewhat of an awkward exchange w/ Kuch. All that & more on the most loaded Thursday show of the Summer so far! Grab some popcorn for this one folks...
