Seems the Houston Astros are going to try and take preventive measures at every road ballpark to protect their players from any opposing fan heckling. This was the scene Monday at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, spring training home of the Detroit Tigers, where the Astros were in town for a game. Note the makeshift railing that branches outward from the actual railing just above the Astros' bullpen. Great thanks to WDAE listener Joe Capezza for providing the photos and alerting us to the situation. This may be one small item to monitor throughout the year as the Astros get ready to play in 2020.
