Well, this certainly doesn't jive with the whole "We Need Robot Umpires" narrative.
In Game 2 of the World Series between the Astros & Phillies, home plate ump Pat Hoberg called all 129 pitches correctly according to Umpire Scorecards, the first time they've ever recorded a perfect score.
Impressive, but not surprising, Hoberg was the #1 rated umpire this season.
Somewhere, Angel Hernandez is fuming.
