The Tampa Bay Rays (71-72) defeated the Baltimore Orioles (82-62) 2-0 on Sunday afternoon in Baltimore. The win gives the Rays a series victory against their divisional rivals.
Zack Littell (6-9, 3.89) allowed just three hits in his five innings of shutout baseball. The Rays only offense came in the sixth, when Jonny DeLuca hit a two-run homer that would be enough to lift Tampa Bay to a series win.
The Rays now travel to Philadelphia to begin a three-game series against the Phillies. First pitch Monday night is scheduled for 6:40 PM - Chris Adams-Wall begins pregame coverage at 6:00 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
