The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 13-0 on Thursday afternoon to win the three-game divisional series.
Taj Bradley (6-4, 2.43) was dominant once again, pitching six shutout innings in which he allowed just two early hits. He now has pitched 23 consecutive scoreless innings as he continues on a brilliant stretch.
Brandon Lowe went 4-for-4 with a homer, three runs driven in and two runs scores to set the pace on offense. Amed Rosario added three hits while Alex Jackson went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Isaac Paredes went 2-for-5 with four runs scored.
The Rays now return home and will begin a three-game series against the Reds coming up on Friday night. Shane Baz (0-1, 3.95) is scheduled to start for the Rays and face Nick Lodolo (8-3, 3.51) for Cincinnati.
