The Toronto Blue Jays (89-71) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (97-63) 11-4 on Friday night at Rogers Centre in Toronto.
After getting one in the second, the Blue Jays scored three runs in both the third and fourth inning to turn the game into a blowout. When the Rays pulled within 8-4 with a four-run sixth, Toronto answered with three more runs in the next two innings to maintain the large lead.
