The Tampa Bay Rays (94-60) defeated the Los Angeles Angels (69-84) 5-4 on Thursday afternoon to win the three game series.
Isaac Paredes went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBIs, and Manuel Margot drove in two himself on a 2-for-4 night. Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth, it was Paredes RBI single that tied the game, and Margot's RBI single that gave the Rays the walk-off win.
Zach Eflin got the start and allowed two earned runs on six hits while striking out ten and walking one. Andrew Kittredge (2-0, 3.38) got the win out of the bullpen.
The Rays now began the final home series of the season when they host the Toronto Blue Jays for a three-game home series beginning Friday night. Tyler Glasnow (9-6, 3.53) will get the start Friday against Chris Bassitt (14-8, 3.78) for the Blue Jays.
