Rays Rally To Even Series With Mariners

The Tampa Bay Rays (86-56) defeated the Seattle Mariners (79-62) 7-4 on Friday night at Tropicana Field. The win evens the four-game series at one game apiece.

The Rays got RBIs from Isaac Paredes and Josh Lowe in the first inning to build a 2-0 lead. From there, Seattle scored the next four runs to build a 4-2 lead.

In the seventh the Rays got a two-run homer from Rene Pinto and another two-run homer from Harold Ramirez to turn a 4-2 deficit into a 6-4 lead. Isaac Paredes added a solo homer in the eighth to give the Rays some insurance and make it a 7-4 final score.
