The Tampa Bay Rays (75-51) and Los Angeles Angels (61-64) split a day-night doubleheader on Saturday. The doubleheader was scheduled as southern California braces for Hurricane Hilary in the coming days.
The Angels beat the Rays 7-6 in the first game, before the Rays blew out the Angels 18-4 in the second game.
The Rays now travel back to Tampa Bay and will be off until Tuesday. They begin a three-game sereis with the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday - first pitch from Tropicana Field is scheduled for 6:40 PM. Ronnie & T-Kras begin pregame coverage with the Inside Pitch at 5:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, your Home of Rays Baseball.
