Rays Rout Orioles To End Skid At Three Games

The Tampa Bay Rays (52-25) defeated the Baltimore Orioles (45-28) 7-2 on Wednesday afternoon at Tropicana Field. The win ended the Rays longest losing skid of the season so far at three games.

The Rays erupted for four runs in the second - after Randy Arozarena and Isaac Paredes each hit solo homers, two runs scored on a throwing error by pitcher Tyler Wells off a soft ground ball from Jose Siri. The Rays added two more in the seventh and one in the eighth to turn the game into a blowout.

Randy Arozarena went 3-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs on the night.

Taj Bradley (5-3, 3.86) allowed one earned run on three hits while striking out eight and walking none in six innings of work to get the win.

The Rays now welcome in the Kansas City Royals for a four-game series beginning on Thursday evening. First pitch Thursday night is scheduled for 6:40 PM - Ronnie & T-Kras begin pregame coverage at 5:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
