The Tampa Bay Rays (23-5) blew out the Chicago White Sox (7-21) 12-3 on Saturday night in the Windy City.
The game started well for the White Sox, as Lance Lynn pitched six no-hit innings to start the game, and Chicago holding a 3-0 lead. However, the Rays completely turned the game around in the seventh inning, exploding for a ten-run frame to turn a game they were trailing into a blowout win.
Four different Rays homered, as Wander Franco, Josh Lowe, and Francisco Mejia all went deep. Randy Arozarena added two home runs, including a three-run blast in the seventh inning.
The Rays will now look to sweep the White Sox in the four game series on Sunday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 2:10 PM - Neil Solondz begins pregame coverage with This Week In Rays Baseball at 12:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620, the Home of Rays Baseball.
