The Houston Astros (13-11) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (20-4) 5-0 on Tuesday evening at Tropicana Field. The Rays winning streak at home to start the season at 14.
The Astros took control of this game with a five run outburst in the fifth inning. All the earned runs were allowed by Drew Rasmussen (3-2, 3.33) who allowed nine while striking out five and walking two.
Tampa Bay will look to bounce back and win the series in the third and final game on Wednesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 PM - Ronnie & T-Kras will begin pregame coverage at 5:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
