Rays Score Seven In Ninth Inning To Earn Series Win Over Tigers

Poche (4-1, 2.92) picked up the win after working a perfect eighth inning.

All of the offense in this game came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Yu Chang and Yandy Diaz each took bases loaded walks to build a 2-0 lead. Brandon Lowe added a two-run single to make it 4-0, before Randy Arozarena hit hit a two-run double to make it 6-0. Roman Quinn added the final offense, driving in Arozarena to give the Rays seven runs, all with two out, in the ninth inning.

The Rays are now off on Monday before heading to Milwaukee on Tuesday to face the Brewers in a short two-game series.
