Rays Drop Fourth Straight Friday Night

The Baltimore Orioles (29-37) defeated the Tampa Bay Rays (35-29) 1-0 on Friday night at Camden Yards.

The Orioles got the only run of the game on a RBI single from Adley Rutschman in the bottom of the seventh inning. From there Jorge Lopez was able to earn his tenth save for the Os working a scoreless ninth, and saving a win for Felix Bautista (3-2, 1.65).

Shane Baz was brilliant, allowing just two hits in six shutout innings while striking out seven and walking nine. Calvin Faucher (0-1, 13.50) allowed the game's only run while getting only one out in the seventh inning.

The Rays now look to bounce back against the Orioles on Saturday afternoon. First pitch Saturday is scheduled for 4:05 PM - Neil Solondz begins pregame coverage from Baltimore at 6:30 PM on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
