(via Tampa Bay Rays Communications) - The Rays have made the following roster moves:
- Designated INF/OF Yoshi Tsutsugo for assignment
- Reinstated LH Ryan Sherriff from the Restricted List and optioned him to Triple-A Durham
- Recalled INF Kevin Padlo from Triple-A Durham
Tsutsugo has struggled with a ,187 average in two seasons in Tampa Bay after signing with Tampa Bay as one of Japan’s most prominent sluggers in his final four seasons, hitting a combined .293/.402/.574 with 139 home runs, 116 doubles, five triples, a 15.1 percent walk rate and a 20.4 percent strikeout rate.
