The Tampa Bay Rays (11-11) fell to the Toronto Blue Jays (10-11) 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Tropicana Field.
Toronto got the only offense either team would need when Santiago Espinal singled in a run in the top of the fifth inning.
For Tampa Bay it was the debut ot Luis Pitino and Luis Head, but it was Josh Fleming (0-1, 1.23) who took the tough luck loss after allowing one run in four and one-third innings of work.
The Oakland As now come to the Trop for a four-game series beginning on Monday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM with pregame coverage beginning with Jay Recher and the Inside Pitch at 6 on 95.3 WDAE & AM 620.
