We've spent a couple of days now dissecting the decision by manager Kevin Cash to replace Blake Snell with Nick Anderson in the sixth inning with a 1-0 lead over the Dodgers, a move that did not work as Los Angeles took the lead in the inning en route to winning its first World Series title in 32 years.
rays Radio broadcaster Andy Freed joined the goons Thursday and pointed out that the Dodgers were using their analytics on their pitching against Tampa Bay's bats, and the Rays did the same exact move with Charlie Morton in Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, which worked out.
