ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Tampa Bay Rays Communications) — In advance of today’s roster deadline, the Rays made the following transactions:
- Optioned INF Daniel Robertson to the alternate training site;
- Assigned OF Randy Arozarena to the alternate training site and placed him on the injured list;
- Assigned LH Anthony Banda, 1B/3B Nate Lowe and LH/1B Brendan McKay to the alternate training site;
- Recalled INF/OF Mike Brosseau and RH Trevor Richards to the active roster;
- Selected RH Ryan Thompson to the major league roster;
With these moves, the Rays roster is now set at 30 (+3 IL). The Rays Opening Day roster is below:
