Rays pitcher Charlie Morton got his final tune-up for the regular season Sunday, throwing three simulated innings of work at Tropicana Field in advance of Opening Day Friday, when he will get the start against the Toronto Blue Jays. At nearly 37 years old, Morton will be the oldest Opening Day starter in franchise history, and the oldest pitcher to start Opening Day for a team since Bartolo Colon began 2015 for the Mets at over 41 years old.
