For DH Jose Martinez, Sunday was a big day to be on the diamond.
Sunday marked the first time that the 31-year-old was able to practice with his teammates since the start of summer camp. Martinez revealed to the media Saturday that he tested positive for COVID-19 on intake, and he had been quarantining away from the team in St. Petersburg.
Despite getting three at-bats Sunday, including one against reliever Diego Castillo, Martinez says he is still not sure whether he'll be ready for the start of the regular season on Friday.
