ST. PETERSBURG (WDAE) -- With the deadline to avoid arbitration passing at noon Friday, the Tampa Bay Rays made sure they would not have to go before a panel this year.
The Rays reached deals with their five remaining arbitration eligible players before the deadline: pitchers Oliver Drake, Tyler Glasnow, and Chaz Roe, outfielder Hunter Renfroe and infielder Daniel Robertson.
According to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times, Renfroe will make $3.3 million in 2020, while Mark Feinsand of MLB.com says Glasnow agreed to a $2.05 million contract for next year.
Catcher Mike Zunino, the team's sixth arbitration eligible player, signed a one-year deal earlier in the offseason.
