ST. PETERSBURG (620 WDAE) -- Matt Andriese, who was activated from the for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Oakland Athletics, left after throwing just one inning with a right groin strain.
Andriese originally went on the disabled list on May 31 with the same injury after throwing 1 2/3 innings in Arlington against the Texas Rangers.
Chih-Wei Hu, called up to be the 26th man on the roster for the second game of the doubleheader, relieved Andriese.
