The Florida Gators (4-3, 2-2) blew out the Kentucky Wildcats (3-4, 1-4) 48-20 on Saturday night in Gainesville to pick up the first win in the series against Kentucky since 2020.
Freshman running back Jaden Baugh ran for five touchdowns and 106 yards on the ground, while quarterback DJ Lagway went 7-for-14 with 259 yards passing. Carmani McClain had a 29-yard interception return for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to clinch the game for Florida.
Florida will look to build on this win when they play #2 Georgia on November 2nd in Jacksonville. Kickoff between the Gators and Bulldogs is scheduled for 3:30 PM ET on Saturday November 2nd.
