The Florida Gators (24-10) defeated Texas A&M (20-14) 95-90 on Saturday afternoon in Nashville. The win sends the Florida Gators to the Final round of the SEC Tournament.
Texas A&M had a good first half, leading 40-22 with 5:24 to go in the frame before going to the break up 50-22. However, the Gators outscored the Aggies 53-40 in the second half to rally past Texas A&M into the championship game of the SEC Conference Tournament.
Five Gators scored in double figures, led by 20 points off the bench from Denzel Aberdeen. The Aggies were led by 30 points from Wade Taylor IV.
The Gators will play Auburn for the SEC Tournament championship. Tipoff in the game is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET from Nashville on Sunday afternoon.
