Gators Upset #10 Kentucky In OT

The Florida Gators (15-6, 5-3) defeated the tenth-ranked Kentucky Wildcats (15-5, 5-3) 94-91 in overtime on Wednesday night in Lexington, Kentucky.

Walter Clayton Jr. made seven three-pointers, including hitting a three to tie the game 84-84 at the end of regulation. He then hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 1:42 to go in the game to give the Gators the lead, before adding two late free-throws to clinch the win.

All told Clayton led Florida with 23 points in the win. Tyrese Samuel had 22 points and 13 rebounds while Zyon Pullin scored 21 points and seven rebounds for the Gators.

Florida next goes to College Station to play Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon. Tipoff from Texas is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
