The Florida State Seminoles (5-0, 3-0) defeated Virginia Tech (2-4, 1-1) 39-17 on Saturday afternoon in Tallhassee.
Seminoles running back Trey Benson turned in a career game, carrying the ball 11 times for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Travis went 18-for-24 at quarterback, throwing for 170 yards and two more touchdowns.
The Seminoles return to action when they host Syracuse on October 14th. Kickoff from Tallahassee is scheduled for 12:00 PM.
