Gators Fall To Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats (5-0, 2-0) defeated the Florida Gators (3-2, 1-1) 33-14 on Saturday afternoon in Lexington.

Ray Davis rushed for a career high 280 yards and four touchdowns for the Wildcats to set the pace. He scored three in the first half as the Wildcats built a 23-0 lead before the Gators got on the board late in the second quarter.

Graham Mertz went 25-for-30 with 244 yards in the air, throwing for two touchdowns and one interception in the loss for the Gators.

The Gators are next in action when they host Vanderbilt in Gainesville on October 7 at 4:00 PM.
