#1 Georgia Pulls Away With Win Over Florida

The top ranked Georgia Bulldogs (8-0, 5-0 SEC) defeated the Florida Gators (4-4, 1-4 SEC) 42-20 on Saturday evening in Jacksonville.

After falling behind 28-3 in the first half, Florida got the first three scores in the third quarter to pull within 28-20. It would be a 78-yard pass from Anthony Richardson to Xzavier Henderson that pulled Florida within a score.

Georgia answered with a touchdown late in the third quarter and early in the fourth to make it a 42-20 final score. Anthony Richardson went 18-for-37 for 271 yards with one touchdown - Henderson grabbed the lone passing touchdown, one of five catches for 110 yards he had on the day.

The Florida Gators are next in action when they go to College Station to play Texas A&M. Kickoff between the Gators and Aggies is scheduled for 12:00 PM on November 5th.
