The LSU Tigers (5-2, 3-1) defeated the Florida Gators (4-3, 1-3) 45-35 on Saturday night in Gainesville.
LSU built a 42-21 lead at the end of the third quarter. Florida attempted to rally in the fourth, but Anthony Richardson's late fourth-down pass attempt fell short and LSU was able to run out the clock with a 45-35 win. Richardson finished the game 15-for-25 with 185 yards and a touchdown passing - he also added another 109 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The Gators are now off next weekend before playing #1 Georgia in Jacksonville on October 29th. Kickoff on Saturday October 29th is scheduled for 3:30 PM.
