Gators 2-0 After Win Over South Carolina

The Florida Gators (2-0, 2-0) defeated South Carolina (0-2, 0-2) 38-24 on Saturday afternoon.

Kyle Trask led the way for Florida, hooking up with receiver Kyle Pitts for two touchdowns. All told Trask went 21-for-29 with 268 yards and four touchdowns through the air, as well as one interception. The Gators were led in receiving by Kadarius Toney, who had 86 yards and a touchdown in the air. The Gators did have two turnovers, but South Carolina was unable to take advantage.

The Gators return to the football field next Saturday as they head to College Station, TX for a showdown with the Texas A&M Aggies, who were routed by Alabama on Saturday.
