Gators Beat Missouri 23-6 Saturday Afternoon

The Florida Gators (9-2, 6-2) knocked off the Missouri Tigers (5-5, 2-4) 23-6 on Saturday afternoon in Columbia, Missouri.

The first half was a battle of field goals - after the Gators struck with one in the first quarter, Missouri answered with one in the second. Once Florida got another field goal the game would go to halftime with the Gators leading 6-3.

The third quarter saw the Gators take control, as quarterback Kyle Trask threw two touchdown passes - one to Josh Hammond and another to Lamical Perine - to take control lof the game en route to a 23-6 victory. All told Trask went 23-for-35 with 283 yards passing and those two touchdowns - that would be more than enough for a Gators team that allowed Missouri only 204 total offensive yards.
