Gators Exit SEC Tournament With Loss To Arkansas

The Florida Gators (20-12, 11-7) fell to the Arkansas Razorbacks (23-10, 10-8) 80-72 on Friday night in the quarterfinals for the SEC Tournament.

Arkansas took a 30-29 lead at halftime and was able to build on that lead in the second half thanks to a career high 27 points from Jaylen Barford.  He also hit a key three down the stretch that helped the Razorbacks snap an eight game losing streak to the Gators and continue their recent trend as one of the hottest basketball teams in the country.

Florida was led by 22 points from Keith Stone, and also got 16 points and six assists from Chris Chiozza.  Florida, which had come into the SEC Tournament hot, now must await to see if they earn an At Large Bid in the NCAA Tournament.  Selection Sunday comes up Sunday afternoon beginning at 6 PM.
