South Florida Celebrates 8th Annual Pig Pardoning

At least one Miami-Dade pig is being spared from slaughter this Noche Buena. Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava officially pardoning a little piggy named "six-seven" during the 8th annual pig pardoning. "Six-seven" will spend the rest of his days at a local farm eating his favorite snack of apples. Noche Buena, which translates to "Good Night" in Spanish, refers to the Christmas Eve celebration observed by many Latin American, Hispanic, and Filipino families.
