Miami Voters Pick New Mayor In Today's Runoff Election

Polls are open from seven this morning until seven tonight as Miami voters pick their next mayor. Barry University's Sean Foreman says runoffs don't usually get a lot of attention. The race is non-partisan, but it's getting national attention since many see it as a test of the nation's political mood ahead of mid-term elections next year. Emilio Gonzalez being endorsed by President Trump.If Eileen Higgins wins, she would become the first Democrat Miami mayor in nearly thirty years.
