Miami, FL - A Miramar man is facing charges after allegedly threatening to distribute nude photos of his ex-girlfriend.
Keon Torrell Ponton Jr., 19, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with extortion and sexual cyberharassment.
According to the Miami Police Department, Ponton demanded new clothes from his ex-girlfriend, who resides in Liberty City.
When she refused, he allegedly threatened to post her nude photos on social media.
Ponton reportedly followed through with his threat, sending screenshots of theshared images to the victim.
Police conducted a controlled call between Ponton and the victim, during which he made incriminating statements.
Ponton was subsequently arrested during a traffic stop and is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on an $8,000 bond.
