TAMPA -- They can't ban worship services, so Hillsborough County authorities are now asking for cooperation.
Hillsboro deputies arrested the pastor of a Tampa church for holding services last Sunday... but the governor's statewide stay at home order makes that impossible now, by declaring religious services as essential.
So now the Emergency Policy Group has issued voluntary guidelines. It recommends online services but ask those that worship in person to stay six feet apart and avoid groups bigger than 10.
