Appointments Set Through Monday At West Palm Beach COVID-19 Test Site

All appointments for Monday COVID-19 testing at the Ballpark of the Palm Beaches site have been booked.

The Health Care District of Palm Beach County says the screening hotline at 561-642-1000 opened at 8 a.m. on Friday and by 10:30 a.m. they had booked all available drive-thru appointments for Monday at the mass-testing site in West Palm Beach.

There are not enough test kits on hand to do any testing beyond April 6th, but if the Health Care District receives a supply over the weekend, the call center will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday to schedule appoints for Tuesday.

850 appointments were scheduled for Saturday, which is higher than most days. Officials say the test site is expanding and using all four lanes. The site is closed on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a new site in the southern end of Palm Beach County is set to open on Tuesday, with appointments being taken on Monday. Details are yet to come on that site which will operate out of the South County Civic Center in west Delray Beach.
