Florida Atlantic University will be playing in the Boca Raton Bowl, but it's unknown who will be coaching the team.
Over the weekend, Lane Kiffin left FAU to take the head coaching position with the University of Mississippi.
Owls Defensive Coordinator Glenn Spencer was named interim coach on Saturday.
FAU plays Southern Methodist University in the bowl game on December 21st, which is being played on a Saturday for the first time. It will air on ABC.
The Owls defeated Akron in the Boca Raton Bowl two years ago.
