President Trump Formally Kicks Off Re-Election Campaign

President Trump is formally kicking off his campaign for re-election.

Hosting a rally in Orlando tonight, the President talked about what it will mean to have him for another four years.

He said his administration has restored a broken federal government and cited the strong national economy.

Trump insisted that he has lived up to a 2016 campaign pledge by "draining the swamp" in Washington, DC.

He said, "Nobody has done what we have done in two-and-a-half years."

Trump also noted the large presence of media crews at the Amway Center and called it a "lot of fake news."

Trump won Florida in 2016 and needs the Sunshine State again in 2020.

Florida traditionally lives up to its reputation as a battleground state in presidential election years.
