Bulls Fall To Old Dominion In Cure Bowl

The USF Bulls (9-4, 6-2 AAC) fell to Old Dominion (10-6, 6-2 Sun Belt) 24-10 on Wednesday evening at the Cure Bowl in Orlando's Camping World Stadium.

The Bulls were playing without four offensive starters, including quarterback Byrum Brown, and were under the direction of interem head coach Kevin Patrick after Alex Golesh accepted the head coaching job at Auburn on November 30. Gaston Moore got the start at quarterback and went 20-for-28 with 236 yards passing, one touchdown and two interceptions - Christian Neptune led the Bulls in receiving with 102 yards on ten catches.

The Bulls led 10-7 at halftime after Moore hit Jeremiah Koger for a 31-yard touchdown midway through the second quarter to take the lead. In the second half it was all Old Dominion, who scored 17 unanswered points to come out with the win and deny the Bulls a chance at a ten-win season.

The Bulls now look ahead to the 2026 season under Brian Hartline, who will join the Bulls after wrapping up his tenure as the offensive coordinator at Ohio State.
