The VCU Rams (24-13) defeated the USF Bulls (25-8) 70-65 on Sunday night at the Yuengling Center. The Bulls remarkable season ends with a loss in the second round of the NIT.
Chris Youngblood lead USF with 28 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Bulls. Kasean Pryor added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Bulls in the losing effort.
The Bulls set a school record this season with 25 wins, including beating UCF in the first round of the NIT, before their season came to an end on Sunday night. First-year head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim and the Bulls will now look forward to the offseason before returning to the court in the Fall.
