The USF Bulls (24-7) fell to UAB (22-11) 93-83 on Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth. The win eliminates the Bulls from the AAC Tournament, and puts their NCAA tournament hopes into question.
UAB built a 38-30 halftime lead and built a lead of 54-41 before the Bulls rallied. The Bulls rallied to tie the game 59-59 with 8:57 to go in the game. The Blazers answered by scoring the next 11 points to build a 70-59 lead with 7:42 to go - from there UAB would hang on for the win.
Selton Miguel led the Bulls with 19 points, while Kasean Pryor scored 18 points and pulled in 15 rebounds. The UAB Blazers were led by 21 points from Efrem Johnson.
The Bulls will now wait to find out their postseason fate on Selection Sunday.
