The top-seeded USF Bulls (24-6) defeated the eighth-seeded East Carolina (15-18) 81-59 on Friday afternoon in Fort Worth. The win advances USF to the semifinals of the AAC Tournament for the first time in school history.
USF took a 44-30 lead into halftime before opening the second half on a 7-3 run as the Bulls would eventually run away with this game. Kobe Knox and Selton Miguel both scored 17 points to lead USF, while Kasean Pryor had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bulls are next in action in the semifinals of the AAC Tournament on Saturday at 3:00 PM ET.
