The USF Bulls (15-5, 8-1) beat the UNT Mean Green (12-9, 5-4) 60-55 on Saturday evening in Denton, Texas.
UNT finished the first half on a 12-2 run and led 31-26 at halftime. USF answered with an 8-0 run to begin the second half, including two three-pointers from Chris Youngblood. He led the Bulls with 16 points in this contest.
The Bulls have now won seven games in a row, all in conference play, to tie a program record with wins in conference. They have also tied for the third-longest winning streak in school history.
The Bulls return home and will host Charlotte on Tuesday night. Tip-off between USF and Charlotte is scheduled for 9:00 PM on Tuesday night at the Yuengling Center.
