USF Bulls Rally For Huge Road Upset At #10 Memphis

The USF Bulls (10-4, 3-1) upset the 10th ranked Memphis Tigers (15-3, 4-1) 74-73 on Thursday night in Memphis.

Memphis built a 50-32 lead at halftime and led by 20 in the second half, but USF did not panic in the face of adversity. The Bulls rallied to tie the game 73-73 when Jayden Reid made a layup with 0:37 to go in the game.

Moments later the Bulls forced a turnover, and the Tigers fouled Kasean Pryor with four seconds to go. He made the first free-throw before missing the second that gave the Bulls a 74-73 lead. Jahvon Quinerly made one last three-point attempt for Memphis that missed, and USF held on for the upset win.

Pryor finished the game with 21 points and ten rebounds for the Bulls, who were led in scoring by Selton Miguel. Coming off the bench, Miguel scored 23 points to help the Bulls pull off the upset victory,

The Bulls return home and will next be in action when they host Wichita State on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
